Such polarity and while the circumstances are so very different, you can't help but also look on and feel an overwhelming sense of pride in your fellow sisters. Oddly enough, I could never really imagine wearing a burka myself nor do I agree with all the messaging of the Toronto protest. I just felt a mutual respect for both these causes. Today I finally learned what it really meant to be a "Third Wave Feminist".
